AI / ML Engineer

Description

We're hiring AI engineers to build the generation pipelines behind AICines — video and image models, prompt systems, character consistency, and the infrastructure that makes it all run at scale. This is production AI work, not notebooks.

Pay: ₹25,000 – ₹2,00,000/month (~$250–$2,000 USD equivalent), set by portfolio and interview, plus performance bonus. Open to candidates worldwide — pay is set in INR but paid via international transfer.

Performance bonus: tied to shipped pipelines and model quality improvements.

This role converts. Strong performers receive a pre-placement offer for a full-time role at AICines or one of our partner production companies. We're also open to contract arrangements.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain AI video and image generation pipelines

Integrate and evaluate models — video, image, audio, and LLMs

Build prompt systems for consistent characters, styles, and worlds

Optimise inference cost and latency

Build internal tooling for the creative team

Test new models as they release and report what's worth adopting

Requirements

Python — the core requirement

Hands-on with any of: LLM APIs, diffusion models, video generation, or ML frameworks

Understanding of APIs, async work, and cloud basics

A GitHub, published project, or body of generated work
