Description

We're hiring financial analysts to own the numbers at AICines — unit economics, budgeting, forecasting, vendor spend, and the reporting the founders make decisions from.

Pay: ₹25,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month, set by portfolio and interview, plus performance bonus

Performance bonus: tied to reporting accuracy and cost savings identified.

This role converts. Strong performers receive a pre-placement offer for a full-time role at AICines or one of our partner production companies. We're also open to contract arrangements.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain financial models — P&L, forecasts, unit economics

Track spend across tools, vendors, marketing, and production

Build monthly reporting for founders and leadership

Analyse cost per user, cost per generation, and contribution margin

Support budgeting and planning cycles

Flag where money is leaking before it becomes a problem

Requirements

Strong Excel or Google Sheets — modelling, not just formatting

Understanding of basic accounting and financial statements

Attention to detail — the numbers have to be right

Bonus: CA, CFA, or commerce background; Indian GST and compliance familiarity
