Responsibilities

Role Description This is a remote Software Quality Assurance Engineer role. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will design and execute test plans and test cases to validate the quality, performance, and reliability of the AICines.ai platform. Responsibilities include performing manual testing across web and backend services, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating closely with software developers and product teams to clarify requirements, and verifying fixes. The role involves contributing to quality standards, maintaining test documentation, supporting release cycles, and helping improve QA processes and tools to ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience for creators and partners.

Requirements

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Software Quality, Quality Assurance, and Software Quality Assurance practices.

Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Understanding of Software Development concepts and life cycle, and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools, test management systems, and basic scripting or automation concepts is beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Attention to detail, clear written and verbal communication skills, and a structured approach to problem-solving.

Experience testing media, streaming, or AI-based applications is a plus.

Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment and independently in a remote setup.
