Description

We're hiring 50 video editors to cut short-form content — Reels, Shorts, trailers, and platform-native video — for AICines and the studios and production partners we work with. You'll work with AI-augmented editing tools as part of the standard pipeline. If you can hold attention in the first two seconds and cut to rhythm, we want to see your work.

Pay: ₹25,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month, set by portfolio and interview, plus performance bonus

Performance bonus: tied to the reach and retention of the cuts you ship.

This role converts. Strong performers receive a pre-placement offer for a full-time role at AICines or one of our partner production companies. We're also open to contract arrangements.

Responsibilities

Edit short-form vertical video (9:16) for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and the AICines platform

Cut trailers, teasers, and promos for AICines originals and partner content

Work with AI video tools as part of the standard editing pipeline

Turn long-form footage into multiple short-form cuts

Own delivery timelines end to end

Requirements

Working knowledge of any professional editing software — DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar

A portfolio — 3 to 5 pieces is enough, personal projects count fully

Strong instinct for pacing, sound, and retention

Curiosity about AI tools in the editing workflow
